- Collaborative effort with state and private agencies to bring nationally recognized experts and local professionals to offer sessions on identifying & screening, interviewing vulnerable adults, evidence/case management and prosecution.

Gerontological Graduate Certificate Core Course Offered On-line!
The BSU Graduate Certificate in Gerontological Studies program offers Fundamentals of Aging on-line Fall Semester! Take advantage of this opportunity to begin preparing for the expanding need for professionals with advanced education in aging.
The postgraduate certificate in Gerontological Studies is an interdisciplinary program intended for students enrolled in any graduate degree program and for local professionals. A minimum of 18 credits is required for the completion of the Graduate Certificate. Course information and application.
Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Studies in Aging Now Available
Demand is growing for professionals knowledgeable about the biological, psychological, and sociological aspects of the aging process. Students now have the opportunity to earn a Minor in Gerontology through structured, upper-division interdisciplinary studies administered by the BSU Dept. of Health Studies.
Coursework furnishes students with an excellent understanding of health and aging, as well as an understanding of the social welfare policy and program related to the older person.
